Fogli bianchi tirati da fili invisibili volano e si spostano nell’aria, creando quasi l’illusione di una città. Otto presenze disposte ai bordi del palco governano la gravità di quei pezzetti bianchi, li trattengono a sé per poi liberarli nuovamente nell’aria, li immobilizzano. Poi si sdraiano e li abbracciano, quasi un respiro all’unisono, tra corpi e fogli di carta.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Italiano, tedesco, francese e inglese si mescolano nella narrazione a capitoli di questo saggio sulla magia delle teatro di figura basato sul testo di Heinrich von Kleist. Così una marionetta dirige i movimenti degli altri attori impegnati ciascuno ad animare e spostare un sasso legato ad un filo. I movimenti del corpo umano seguono l’asse e l’equilibrio della marionetta in un’equilibrio che dà la percezione di un tempo e di uno spazio sospesi. Così una marionetta danza in scena in controluce con un fazzoletto bianco. Un ragno a sonagli, agile e leggero scende dall’alto e interferisce con il colore appena posato dal pennello su una tela bianca a centro palco. Dalle sedie ai fazzoletti, ai supporti per la lettura che diventano anche passerelle per le meraionette, al telo usato come lavagna per scandire il tempo, ai fogli di carta. Così una marionetta prende vita dalla carta stropicciata che viene usata per comporre i suoi arti. E’ animata da ogni lato grazie agli attori e ai fili invisibili che la governano e ritorna poi materia fino al suo smantellamento in tanti piccoli brandelli di carta. Specchi e giochi di luce sottolineano il parallelismo tra le pose del corpo dell’animatore attore e quelle della marionetta. Una maschera, e l’uomo diviene burattino.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Carta, legno, pietra, tutto si anima in scena. La materia è appesa e sospesa in un gioco continuo con la gravità. Due marionette scheletriche scendono dall’altpo e si rincorrono, in un’atmosfera che ricorda quelle create ad arte da Tim Burton. Un’altra marionetta,&amp;nbsp; agganciata al corpo di un’attrice, danza con un ombrello all’unisono con lei, si muove leggera nello spazio e compie piroette e salti fino scomparire dalla scena. Tutto è attraversato dallo stupore, dall’equilibrio, dalla sperimentazione dei movimenti tra uomo e marionetta tesi a sfidare la forza che ci incatena a terra. Perché è come se l’intero spettacolo ci accompagnasse con stupore fino alla frase di Heinrich von Kleist : “La forza che li solleva in aria è maggiore di quella che li incatena a terra”.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span lang="DE-AT"&gt;Über das Marionettentheater, 1810. occhialcielo&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Il secondo spettacolo mi ha risollevato il morale! Dall’inizio alla fine era evidente l’intento poetico e la necessità di essere di questa messa in scena corale. I gesti delicati, l’attenzione degli attori uno verso l’altro, la ricerca stilistica e visiva hanno sottolineato la storia semplice che veniva narrata: un famosissimo ballerino tedesco, nel 1810, si appassiona di marionette e ne va a studiare i movimenti, cercando di carpirne la bellezza e la tecnica. Insomma, un inno d’amore alle marionette, non solo nella scelta di utilizzarle come mezzo principale, ma anche nel renderle il focus del discorso. D’altronde, il titolo è “Über das Marionettentheater”!.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Vediamo dunque un alternarsi di bellissimi momenti corali, in cui si spiega con poche parole (finalmente!) la passione di quel ballerino per il teatro di marionette, a degli “assoli” delle marionette stesse (e scusate la ripetizione, ma non posso certo sostituire questo termine con burattini o bambole o pupazzi): creature alate che scendono dai cieli del palco, oppure ragni supersnodati, o “uomini” con la maschera. Quanta meraviglia nel vedere manovrare queste piccole opere d’arte! Anche i sassi e i fogli si animano! Gli attori giocano con le loro creature, si divertono, si vede che sentono proprio ciò che fanno.&lt;/span&gt;  &lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Si esprimono in tedesco, francese, italiano, inglese, le lingue che probabilmente hanno parlato durante il loro workshop qua a Torino, e si fanno portatori di un messaggio. Difatti, il loro spettacolo non è un puro esercizio di stile, ma una ricerca sul concetto di grazia.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Ed è una ricerca che trasuda nella scelta visiva e nelle parole. Solo due esempi: verso la fine della rappresentazione, un attore, da solo, manovra una marionetta dagli arti sottili e scuri, di sembianze umane, che indossa una maschera bianca sul volto. Ecco che, in mezzo al palco, nell’ombra, la marionetta si leva la maschera e la posa sul volto dell’attore (dal quale non cade!); E ancora, un attore è inchiodato a terra con la sua marionetta da un sasso, cerca divincolandosi di liberarsene, di far librare in aria la sua creatura, ma è un’impresa impossibile e, appena un altro attore passa, gli lascia in braccio la sua creatura fuggendo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Allora la domanda che viene posta è: dove finisce la volontà dell’uomo e dove inizia la potenzialità dell’oggetto? Dann legen sie sich hin und nehmen sie in die Arme, gleichsam ein gemeinsames Aufatmen zwischen Körper und Papierstück.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span lang="DE-AT"&gt;&amp;nbsp;Italienisch, Deutsch, Französisch und Englisch vermischen sich in der kapitelweisen Erzählung dieses Werkes über die Magie des Figurentheaters, basierend auf dem Text von Heinrich von Kleist. So lenkt eine Marionette die Bewegungen der anderen Schauspieler die jeder für sich einen an einem Faden befestigten Stein beleben und bewegen. Die Bewegungen des menschlichen Körpers folgen der Achse und dem Gleichgewicht der Marionette in einer Ausgeglichenheit, die den Eindruck von aufgehobener Zeit und Raum geben. So tanzt eine Marionette auf der Bühne im Gegenlicht durch ein weißes Tuch. Eine Spinne an Fäden, beweglich und leicht, steigt aus der Höhe herunter und tritt in Verbindung mit der auf ein weißes Tuch hingepinselten Farbe in der Bühnenmitte. Schließlich schüttet sie die Farbe um und kann das Tuch in Besitz nehmen und ein eigenes Kunstwerk schaffen.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span lang="DE-AT"&gt;Kein Gegenstand wird zufällig gebraucht. Wenn er gezeigt wird, dann weil er eine Funktion auf der Bühne hat. Von den Sesseln zu den Tüchern, zu den Lesehilfen die auch zu&amp;nbsp; Laufstegen für die Marionetten werden, zur Leinwand, die zur Tafel wird, zu den Papierblättern. So wird eine Marionette lebendig aus dem zerknüllten Papier , das benütztwird, um ihre Kunst zu illustrieren. Von allen Seiten entsteht Leben Dank den Künstlern und den unsichtbaren Fäden, die die Materie lenken und sie zurückkehren lassen bis zu ihrer Zerlegung in so viel kleine Papierschnitzel. Spiegel und Lichtspiele unterstreichen die Parallele zwischen der Stellung des Körpers des Animators/Schauspielers und der der Marionette. Eine Maske, und der Mensch wird Puppe. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span lang="DE-AT"&gt;Papier, Holz, Stein, alles belebt sich auf der Bühne. Die Materie wird gesenkt und gehoben in einem dauernden Spiel mit der Schwerkraft.&amp;nbsp; Zwei skellethafte Marionetten steigen aus dem Schnürboden herunter und laufen herum in einer Atmosphäre die an die durch dir Kunst von Tim Burton geschaffene erinnern. Eine ander Marionette, am Körper einer Schaupielerin befestigt, tanzt mit einem Schirm im Gleichtakt mit ihr, bewegt sich leicht im Raum und macht Piroutten und Salti, bis sie von der Bühne verschwindet.&amp;nbsp; Alles ist durchzogen von Starre, Gleichgewicht, Erprobung der Bewegungen zwischen Mensch und Marionette, Thesen der Kraft zu misstrauen, die uns an die Erde kettet. Darum ist es, als ob das ganze Stück uns mit Staunen begleitet bis zur Satz von Heinrich von Kleist : “&lt;i&gt;Die Kraft, die sie in die Luft hebt, ist größer als die , die sie an die Erde kettet. &lt;/i&gt;”.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span lang="DE-AT"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Über das Marionettentheater, 1810&lt;i&gt;. occhialcielo&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span lang="DE-AT"&gt;Das zweite Stück hat meine Moral gehoben! Von Anfang bis Ende war die poetische Absicht und die Notwendigkeit zu sein dieser gemeinsamen Regiearbeit offensichtlich. Die feinen Bewegungen, die gegenseitige Rücksicht der Schauspieler aufeinander, die stilistische und visuelle Suche haben die einfache Geschichte unterstrichen, die erzählt wurde: ein sehr berühmter deutscher Tänzer entdfeckt 1810 seine Liebe zu den Marionetten und beginnt, ihre Bewegungen zu studieren, wobei er versucht, deren Schönheit und Technik zu verstehen. Mit einem Wort, ein Liebeslied auf die Marionetten, nicht nur in der Wahl, sie hauptsächlich zu benützen, sondern sie zum Brennpunkt des Diskurses zu machen. Der Titel ist ja auch: “&lt;i&gt;Über das Marionettentheater”&lt;/i&gt;!.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span lang="DE-AT"&gt;Wir sehen also einen Wechsel von schönsten Gemeinschaftsmommenten, in denen in wenigen Worten (enclich!) die Leidenschaft dieses Tänzers für das Marionettentheater erklärt wird mit „Soli“ der Marionetten selbst ( und entschiuldigt die Wiederholung, aber ich kann diesen Ausdruck sicher nicht mit Handpuppen, oder Puppen, oder Spielpuppen ersetzen): geflügelte Wesen, die vm Bühnenhimmel heruntersteigen oder überverknotete Spinnen oder „Menschen“ mit Masken. Wie großes Wunder, diese kleinen Knstwerke manövrieren zu sehen! Auch die Steine und die Bläter wrden lebendig! Die Schauspieler spielen mt ihren Schöpfungen, unterhalten sich, man sieht, dass sie genau das fühlen, was sie tun. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span lang="DE-AT"&gt;Sie drücken sich auf Deutsch, Französisch, Italiensich und Englisch aus, den Sprachen, die sie wahrscheinlich während ihres Workshop hier in Turin gesprochen haben, und sie machen sich zu Trägern einer Nachricht. In der Tat, ihr Stück ist nicht eine reine Stilübung, sondern eine &lt;b&gt;Forschung über das Konzept der Grazie&lt;/b&gt;. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span lang="DE-AT"&gt;Und es ist eine Forschung, die sich in der Wahl des Sichtbaren und in den Worten ausdrückt. Nur zwei Beipiele: gegen Ende der Vorstellung führt ein Schauspieler alleine eine Marionette von feiner und dunkler Kunst , menschenähnlich, die eine weiße Maske vor dem Gesicht&amp;nbsp; trägt. Und da, mitten auf der Bühne, im Schatten, nimmt die Marionette die Maske ab und setzt sie auf das Gesicht des Schauspielers (von dem sie nicht herunterfällt!); und dann, ein Schauspieler ist an den Boden gefesselt mit seiner Marionette aus einem Stein, er versucht, sich zu entfesseln, von ihr zu befreien, sein Geschöpf in die Luft entfliehen zu lassen, aber es ist ein vergebliches Unterfangen, und kaum geht ein anderer Schauspieler vorbei, legt er ihm sein Geschöpf in den Arm und flieht. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span lang="DE-AT"&gt;Also ist die Frage, die man sich stellt: wo endet der Wille des Menschen und wo beginnt die Macht des Objekts? Ist es der Mensch, der sie bewegt,&amp;nbsp; oder die Marionette, die bestimmt, wie sie sich bewegen lässt? &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;span lang="DE-AT"&gt;Ja, alles scheint möglich, und der poetische Schluss steht fest ( und ich bitte euch, über den optischen Quatsch hinauszugehen, den ich schreiben kann. Bedenkt, dass im Stück richtig gesagt wurde):“ wenn man einen Gegenstand vor einen konvexen Spiegel legt, wird das Bild da reflektiert, wo es ist, und dann kann man es nur im Unendlichen sehen. I really liked the idea of starting with everyday-life objects – at the beginning he made us explore the relationship between threads or ropes and various simple objects like scissors, sheets of paper and stones – to develop later a deeper understandig of his (for a beginner like me) very complicated puppets. We had total freedom to experiment movements, to find out construction secrets or simply to get acquainted with these grotesque, sometimes rude with us, often touching beings; only afterwards Frank invited us to repropose the most interesting things we had discovered. Moreover he helped each of us to improve the construction of our own puppets.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Also the work of analysis and interpretation of Kleist’s text was led with great sensibility both for the technical problems concerning marionettes as for the philosophical matters aroused in the dialogue. In general I think that every proposal was of the highest quality – materials, text, puppets, music, suggestions for improvisation, final mise en scène of the performance – and revealing a great sense of theatrical taste and a refined poetics. Althoug I experienced many difficulties, I am absoloutely enthusiastic of the workshop, where I believe to have learnt a lot. I also really liked the group of partecipants, coming from different countries and with very different theatrical experiences.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;2 ITALIAN Seguire il laboratorio con Frank ha significato per me la scoperta di un approccio del tutto nuovo al mondo delle marionette. Ho molto apprezzato l’idea di partire da oggetti di uso quotidiano – in principio ci ha invitati a esplorare la relazione tra fili e corde e vari oggetti come forbici, fogli di carta o pietre – per sviluppare più tardi una comprensione più profonde delle sue marionette, molto complesse per un principiante come me. Abbiamo sempre goduto della massima libertà nell’esplorare movimenti, scoprire segreti di costruzione o anche solo semplicemente di prendere dimestichezza con questi esseri grotteschi e toccanti, a volte però persino scontrosi; solo in seguito Frank ci chiedeva di riproporre alcune delle “scoperte” che avevamo fatte. Inoltre ci ha aiutato&amp;nbsp; a migliorare la costruzione delle marionette portate da noi.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; text-indent: 35.4pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Anche il lavoro di analisi e interpretazione sul saggio di Kleist è stato condotto con profonda sensibilità e per gli aspetti tecnici e per quelli filosofici del testo. In generale credo che ogni proposta fosse di alta qualità – dai materiali al testo alle marionette alla musica alle scelte registiche per la messa in scena finale – denotando un grandissimo gusto e una raffinatissima poetica teatrale. Nonostante le molte difficoltà incontrate sono entusiasta del lavoro svolto&amp;nbsp; e di quanto appreso. Dallo scaricare, il primo giorno, bauli di altri tempi pieni dimarionette ed attrezzature, alla possibilità di giocare con oggetti di usoquotidiano dandogli vita. Dal perfezionamento delle marionette che ognuno dinoi aveva portato, allo studio dei meccanismi di movimento. Dal confronto sultesto di Kleist alle prove con le marionette davanti agli specchi.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="Corpo" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Mi si è aperto davanti agliocchi un nuovo mondo, un nuovo modo d fare spettacolo.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="Corpo" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Ho scoperto la magia e laleggerezza delle cose appese ad un filo. Sicuramente difficili da manovrare, macon un maestro del calibro di Frank a disposizione tutto sembra più facile.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="Corpo" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Frank, uomo dallo sguardoapparentemente severo, ma dalla grande voglia di ridere. Inoltre é molto rarotrovare un professionista (soprattutto quando si parla di “artigianato”) cheabbia voglia di condividere il suo sapere e la sua esperienza, senza paura disvelare i propri segreti.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="Corpo" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;La costruzione dellospettacolo è stata impeccabile. Credo che ci fossero le condizioni ottimali: unbuon gruppo e un perfetto conduttore. Le prove sono state portate avanti conserietà e con serenità, che vuol anche dire arrivare alla fine non stanchi econ la voglia di far vedere cosa si è preparato.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="Corpo" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;Ringraziamenti doverosi achi ha permesso che questo PIP fosse possibile.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: small;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt; font-weight: normal;"&gt;The departure point has been the text from Mary Shelley and the adaptation of the story by Luc van Meerbeke/Neville Tranter, which text was inspired on Mary Shelley' s book but also on the history of Nazi Germany: in the concentration camps there were sadists but also there were people that thought they were serving history by "removing" (killing) undesirable elements (the Jews) like a surgeon removes a tumor from a body. It is the same "idealistic/scientific" way of thinking that moves dr. Frankenstein. And that prevents him to face the consequences of his actions for REAL people in REAL life. The theme of Frankenstein is: Progress gone wrong (that is a very historical theme: in history progress/triumph ALWAYS brought benefits to some and despair to others), the triumph of doctor Frankenstein, in succeeding to create a monster, meant despair for the monster (because dr. Frankenstein never gave it a thought after bringing the monster to life, HOW the life of the monster would be). Frankestein, di Anne, dell’ispettore Cornermann, del mostro, il fritto misto di pesce mangiato al bar e tanto altro ancora. Quello che questo gruppo capitanato da Neville mi ha insegnato: Lavorare con calma e serenità; il tempo e gli ostacoli basta farseli amici… e tutto fila liscio come l’olio. Creare una partitura di gesti ad altissima precisione e cercare poi all’interno di essa la vita e il piacere di recitare. Armonizzare il lavoro di persone con esperienze, conoscenze e background diversi. Restare umili e umani, sempre. From my viewpoint of the youngest participant and the fact my background has nothing to do with acting, I found this experience extremely interesting both from a strictly technical point of view – especially becoming more familiar with the manipulation and definition of a non-verbal language that is intimately connected to the archetypical identity of each puppet – and from a more generally cultural and human point of view, all thanks to the kindness and didactic clarity of the director Neville Tranter and to the mixed group of participants and technical-organisation people involved with the project. font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: auto;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: normal;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #274e13;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;"&gt;Progetto Incanti Produce 2009 – Studio su Frankenstein&lt;br /&gt;Relazione sull’esperienza svolta&lt;br /&gt;Non posso esprimermi a proposito dell’opportunità offertami dal Festival Incanti di partecipare al workshop condotto da Neville Tranter se non dichiarando schiettamente e senza timore di apparire enfatica che ne sono entusiasta.&lt;br /&gt;Dal mio personale punto di vista di partecipante più giovane e proveniente da un background non attoriale tale esperienza si è rivelata di estremo interesse sia sotto il profilo prettamente tecnico -soprattutto in relazione allo sviluppo di una maggiore familiarità con la manipolazione e la definizione di un linguaggio non-verbale intimamente connesso all’identità archetipica di ciascuna marionetta – sia sotto quello più genericamente culturale e umano, in virtù dell’affabilità e della chiarezza didattica del regista Neville Tranter ma anche dell’eterogeneo gruppo di partecipanti e personale tecnico-organizzativo coinvolto nel progetto. Il contatto con marionettisti di lunga esperienza, attrici, professionisti del teatro di figura e giovani ricercatori ha costituito per me un elemento di stimolo e crescita non trascurabile.&lt;br /&gt;Quanto all’articolazione e allo svolgimento del workshop, ho trovato appassionanti e utili i concetti generali introdotti dal regista durante i primi incontri (fra cui ricordo soprattutto quello di tensione, declinato tanto nell’espressione della maschera quanto nel contatto oculare con il pubblico e nell’interazione tra personaggi), ma ciò che ha suscitato il mio più vivo interesse è stata l’applicazione di tali nozioni all’interpretazione del testo proposto.&lt;br /&gt;Frankenstein, infatti, stratifica tematiche contingenti (come quelle del progresso e della cecità della storia) e leit-motiv senza tempo (come quelli dell’amore, dell’ambizione e della responsabilità individuale), alterna toni e registri linguistici offrendosi come un oggetto di studio di sicuro interesse per una giovane “apprendista” come me.&lt;br /&gt;Posso quindi affermare che anche le mie aspettative circa l’intreccio tematico di teatro di figura e storia non sono state disattese, così come non lo sono state quelle relative all’acquisizione di una più precisa consapevolezza delle potenzialità comunicative del teatro di figura, specialmente in rapporto all’espressione di contenuti tragici.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;"&gt;Devo infine aggiungere che il PIP mi ha offerto la fondamentale occasione di partecipare ad uno spettacolo che ha raggiunto la fase finale del confronto con il pubblico, cosa che non mi era mai riuscita in precedenza, e ulteriore motivo per il quale tale esperienza rimarrà per me importante e viva nella memoria.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #274e13; font-weight: normal;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Times, 'Times New Roman', serif;"&gt;Rivolgo dunque un ringraziamento all’organizzazione a un affettuoso saluto a tutti coloro che vi hanno partecipato. The heartily welcome when I finally arrived, the warmth and friendship during the three weeks which you all gave to me was far more than I ever could have expected. Everything was so well organized! The fact that we were not only working together but also living under the same roof and sitting at the same table during the meals helped very much to get weld together whithin a very short time. Thank you for all this! The workshop was wonderful! Neville is a brillant teacher and the other participants are really lovable persons. I enjoyed so much to work with them and it felt great how everything went better from day to day. To move one puppet together with two or three persons is much more difficult than to play one on your own, but Neville tought us to allways be aware of the others and we learned to trust each other completely. When it finally came to the performance I wasn´t in the least nervous because I just knew that when I would open the puppet´s mouth Paolo would speak and Alessandra would do the movement propperly, I knew that everything would be perfectly well. I just couldn´t wait to start performing. What made me ask for the workshop was that I wanted to know whether it was possible to take six persons who did not know each other before and get them to act as an ensemble in a very short time and even here I got more than I ever expected. To work with the others not only made me feel like beeing part of an ensemble, it was like beeing part of a Unit and that was a wonderful feeling. In summa: This workshop was one of the most important experiences I ever had. Now that I´m reading the text Ive written I `do notice that I didn´t write anything about the language, which is strange, because it should have been a problem, but it never was! Although my Italian is very limited I did never feel like standing outside.
